Abstract
|
|
|
A case of purpura fulminans in a 3 °/12 -year-old female was presented.
For lweek before admission, painful swelling in the both upper and lower extremities associated with ecchymotic skin lesion and gangrene developed suddenly.
There were no thrombocytopenia or blood incoagulability. The progression arrested spontaneously and complete recovery was observed by antibiotic and steroid therapy.
